EL6659 - A late-18th century 'mourning' smallsword. Deliberately darkened fittings, with attractive copper ribbon grip, with upper Turk's head in place still. Iron hilt. Austere oval iron guard, with decoration to the upper edge. Typical triangular-section blade of 28 inches long (not shortened). Everything firm and almost no movement in the hilt. Some light surface rust - in need of cleaning.
