EL6660 - The 3rd Dragoon Guards sword of Charles Henry Collette. Retailed by Smith & Son of London, and quite likely made by Reeves. Collette is primarily known to history as a successful stage actor, but prior to that he was a soldier. He commissioned into the 3rd Dragoon Guards in November 1861, and this sword presumably dates to then. He was stationed in India (and being shortly after the Indian Mutiny, with subsequent operations, that presumably explains why this sword was sharpened). He left the Army in 1868, and launched his career in London as an actor. There is lots of research to be done in this regard, but you can see an overview here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Collette The sword's blade has been service sharpened, but is in excellent condition. The sword has some patina to the hilt and some light corrosion to the scabbard, but overall is in very good condition, with a lovely bright blade in great condition, all solid and firm in the hilt. The grip is also excellent. A fantastic big and lively sword in the hand.
