EL6289 - A post-WW1 Royal Artillery officer's sword, probably from the 1920s up to WW2. The proof slug suggests that it may have been made by the revived Reeves label, under Wilkinson, but there is no maker or retailer marked otherwise. The condition is very close to modern parade standard, with the blade in high original polish, with mirror finish contrasting well with the dark frost etching. The hilt is in equally good condition, with very good plating and the shagreen and wire all complete. The scabbard and frog are also in good shape. This could be worn by a serving Royal Artillery officer.
