Product Details

EL6093 - A late-19th century Portuguese cavalry sword, made in Toledo. This model of sword was clearly inspired by the British 1821 pattern cavalry troopers' sword, but without the ears on the backstrap and with a shagreen grip. This example is in good condition, bright and only needing superficial cleaning. The hilt is very slightly loose on the tang, which is probably fixable by tightening up the tang nut at the pommel. With its matching one-ring scabbard and various Spanish military markings.
