EL6304 - A good quality 19th century Indian tulwar (probably North Indian), with maker's stamp to the ricasso. The robust blade, slightly curved and with one fuller, carries a few edge nicks from another sword. The hilt is nicely sized and well made, having once had silver decoration, of which some silver dots remain. It once had a knucklebow, having been removed at some time in its working life. The blade is secure in the hilt, but there is a bit of movement when wiggled. Even grey patina overall.
