EL6305 - A good 19th century Afghan pulwar. Featuring a characteristic hilt of typical form, though larger than average size, firm on the tang, though with some movement to the hemi-spherical hollow pommel. Despite being able to turn, the pommel is nevertheless secure and complete. The pommel still contains the stones, having religious significance. The broad curved blade with triple fullers and markings stamped in emulation of earlier Italian trade blades. Dark patina overall. Some bumps to the edge.
