EL6583 - A Napoleonic era 1796 pattern light cavalry trooper's sabre, in untouched condition. In need of gentle cleaning and restoration, with light surface rust, some pitting, paint on parts of the guard and very dry leather on the grip. One langet is missing from the guard. The blade has not been service sharpened. No scabbard. A maker's mark is just visible, but I cannot work out the name. There is also an approval marking visible. Everything solid and tight, and this should clean up well.
