EL6631 - An untouched and honest 1853 pattern cavalry trooper's sword, in scabbard. This sword has seen action, having had the last 3rd of the blade service sharpened and having a few small edge nicks. The blade is otherwise good, bright ad quite clean. The hilt and scabbard have surface rust, which needs cleaning, but appear in basically sound condition underneath. The leather grips are somewhat age worn, but quite good overall and completely firm on the patent solid tang. Still has the original leather washer and sheaths well. There are some numbers on the blade, which I presume are a regimental armoury rank number, or suchlike.
