EL6921 - A good 1845 pattern Royal Navy cutlass, converted in 1888 with the slightly shortened blade and re-profiled point. The Enfield factory approval marking and War Department stamp, this blade has been service sharpened for active service. The blade is quite bright and clean, in good condition, firm in the hilt. Some nicks in the edge. Hilt in good condition, all solid, it would benefit from some light cleaning. The brass diamond-shaped plate with rack number also in nice condition.
