EL6170 - A nice example of the 1803 pattern infantry officer's sabre. With brightly polished and service sharpened blade, of classic 1796 light cavalry-inspired shape. Blade firm in the hilt, but with the common bit of movement to the guard. The brass guard with George III cypher to the knucklebow and buff leather washer. Grip in very good condition, with good grey shagreen and grip wire all intact. No scabbard. A very clean example of the Napoleonic era iconic design.
