EL6216 - A 1796 pattern light cavalry trooper's sword by reputable maker Thomas Craven, with restoration required to the wooden grip. The blade of this sword is lovely, in very clean condition and the sword is complete with its scabbard (the scabbard has lost the screws from the throat and has a number of dents). However the grip has lost a chunk of the wood and this would make a very worthwhile restoration project. Though the hilt is relatively firm on the tang as it is. A sword with obvious need of attention, but the blade is great and restored it would be worth considerably more.
