EL6252 - An attractive Napoleonic era non-regulation British sabre, probably for an infantry, artillery or naval officer, c.1800. The brass guard and backstrap in good shape, as is the leather of the grip. The hilt is firm on the hilt, though there is a little bit of wiggle to the guard. The blade of 30 inches in quite good condition overall, though with a couple of patches of corrosion and even patina over the rest - the blade has been sharpened. No scabbard.
